Uncover Your Karmic Theme
Karmic Theme 6: I am Imperfect.
I cannot be God because I am not a reflection of perfection.
No matter how much of our own flaws we try to hide, we cannot accept that deep down, they contribute to the sum total of who we are. And by denying the qualities that we think make us less than perfect, we fail to see that they are important characteristics that shape our humanness and bring us into humility.
Fighting our imperfections, creating a veneer to hide those things we think make us weak or vulnerable is exhausting, but the longer we do it, the more we fear that the house of cards we’ve built, will come crumbling down with one wrong move, one wrong choice, one wrong smile.
So we move through life robotically. Carefully curating our appearances, our words and our body language to convey something we expect the world to like. And we equate our personal power with this ego sense of ourselves.
I Am Not Good Enough means we do not fully understand what true power is. No matter how much we cultivate our outward persona, we are bereft of actual love and self-respect on the inside because we’ve traded honesty, truth and wisdom for vanity, arrogance and disinformation. And the longer we are at it, the more inclined we are to believe our own lies and persona in order to keep others from seeing our flaws.
Yet, because we are so capable of leading, of recognizing the bigger picture and operating in service of others, hope is not lost. Rather, the goal in moving through our theme is to find the honesty and humility to own who we are, to see that our imperfections make us truly perfect for helping others and that by embracing what we believe makes us weak, we can come into our fullest power.
