Let’s Talk About Fear.

We think that fear is warning us of danger and keeping us protected. It isn’t. 

Rather than keeping us safe, fear holds us back from living our fullest potential. It isn’t real, it isn’t certainty and it isn’t the only story. But the more we believe that it is, the more it will appear in our reality, prompting us to choose something different. 

In order to shift out of our reality and create a new one, we have to transcend the fear that makes us believe it isn’t possible.

What are we scared of?

The first fear to face is the fact that we are scared in the first place. We think that if we acknowledge our fear, we will remain locked in it forever. 

It is actually the opposite. Without seeing the fear, we won’t know what we are working through. 

But we can’t just rush in and change everything all at once. Fear is extremely powerful (it’s how we are wired) so we have to chip away at it step by step and layer by layer. We first have to acknowledge the general fear and how it is showing up for us. 

At the core of the fear is one clear belief: that We Are Not Good Enough

We are not good enough to create the life we desire, to be in the relationship we desire, to be in the job we desire, to have the experiences we desire, and to receive the love we most need. 

And even when we do, we tend to over work, over think and over compensate in order to prove that we deserve it.

  1. Think of something that has happened to you recently that made you feel Shit. What would’ve had to happen to have your desired outcome? Would getting what you want in that moment speak to your fears and insecurities? If not, what stopped you from standing up for yourself? 

  2. Think of something that has happened to you recently that made you feel great. If you believed that you didn't deserve it to happen, would you have doubted it or not trusted it?
