A Matter of Choice.

Often the way in which we meet our shadow is when we feel like we are failing. The story of those failures will always point back to the story we have told ourselves about who we are.

By keeping separation within, we are allowing judgment and shame to dictate who we are and how we live. But judgment and shame are subjective.

We tend to hide our shadow in order to ensure that we can be accepted or chosen. What we first must come to understand is that this is all simply an opinion. And everyone’s opinion will differ depending on their own circumstances and their own shadows.

It’s not just beauty that is in the eye of the beholder, it’s everything.

And the ultimate beholder is you.

Underneath each one write 2 examples or situations where that aspect of yourself that is “bad” has or could serve you either in reality or emotionally. E.g. Acting fearlessly can also be regarded as acting impulsively. So we may tend to hold back, etc. but imagine how well it serves to be fearless…
